Increased Duty Rate For Chinese-Origin Products Subject To Sec. 301

Dear Customers and Friends,

This is to inform that President Trump announced that effective 12:01 AM this Friday May 10th, additional import duty rates will be applicable to Chinese-origin products listed on Section 301, Tranche/List 3. Today, the U.S. Trade Representative (“USTR”) issued a Notice confirming the additional tariff rate increase to 25% ad valorem.
Currently those products are subject to an additional duty rate of 10% ad valorem.

President Trump also announced that tariffs could be imposed on a new "List 4" covering $325 billion of imports from China.
